Chapters 1-2 of Job

What can we learn about humanity?

The quality of life back in Job’s time for an average person was probably not good. Job was very fortunate in that he had  plentiful amount of livestock and land while at the same time had a huge house and family. You can tell that Job walked by faith because even when he lost all of his posessions he still satyed true to God. I think that faith was more important to Job than anything he posessed for a period of time.

What can we learn about God?

In chapters one and two in Job we learn that God is somewhat unfair and unjust. I say this because God willingly lets Satan harm Job by taking away everything he has except his wife just to prove that Job is loyal to him. The second time God let Satan physically harm Job without inflicting death upon him. I feel God is being unfair because he is harming an innocent man just to prove a point to Satan.

What can we learn about relationships?

In these two chapters of Job we can learn that Job cared for his family and had relationships with them. We can also see that Job has a very strong relationship with God. Even though it seems as if God is cursing him, Job stays loyal. When Satan takes away everything Job had and his wife was telling him to curse God, he still did not listen but praised God. If that doesn’t represent a strong relationship than I don’t know what does.

What can we learn about Job and his family?

So far in Job we can learn that he loves his children and cares for them but when Satan takes them away from him he does not curse God. Job must have been upset to lose his children but he still stayed loyal to God. When Job’s wife told him to curse God for he has done no good but evil, Job still stays loyal to God.

Animal Farm Blog

Someone I know who feels as if they are aimlessly following leaders would be my friend Michael. He feels as if we are all following the education system because we are all here when we don’t really want to be here (michael thinks that I love school ecspecially MR.AMICO’S CLASS which is the BEST). In school we are required by the government to attend school untill we are 16 until we can make our own decisions and then we still have our parents who force us to still attend school if we want to still live at home. The education system requires the students to acheive a certain grade and learn certain information in order to proceed with the learning process. If we dropout before we are 18 we can lose our liscences which is another way the government is trying to keep us in school against our wills.

If some one like my friend Michael were to rebel against the education system I feel that it would result in a failed attempt because it is one person against the so called ‘leaders’. If many people did not come in agreement with how the education system is run I feel that the results would be that students would be successful in their attempts. In Animal Farm for example I think that if one animal went against the leader Napoleon, they would be shut down because it is one animal against the leader. If all of the animals rebeled against Napoleon they would be able to overrun him because its evryone against one.

P.S. this is how michael feels & I LOVE MR.AMICO’S CLASS!!!
